Sunday was the date for the MTV Video Music Awards, held in New York City. Highlights included Kanye West crashing Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech, stating that the award should have gone to Beyonce. I think the majority of people were not impressed with his child like antics. More impressive was the tribute to Michael Jackson. NewsBlogRC would love to hear your comments below.

25 years ago, Michael Jackson was shooting a live Pepsi commercial in front of a studio audience. During his performace his hair caught fire as a result of problems with some effect explosions. This resulted in him suffering burns to his face and scalp. It is thought this event led to his addiction to painkillers and his extensive plastic surgery.
This never been seen video has now been released for all to see at News Blog RC:
Joe Jackson, the father of pop superstar, Michael Jackon gives a CNN interview on the Larry King show. He joins Larry to discuss the death of MJ and the rumours surrounding it.
R&B singer, Ne-Yo performed in concert yesterday in Manchester and was booed off the stage. This happened after he was forced to stop half way through because of illness. He was crying and then stated that he had never stopped mid performance like this and added “I will be back”. A suspected case of swine flu may be the cause. News Blog RC thinks it was a bit low of the crowd to boo the poor guy but Mancunians would expect him to dance even if one of his legs was falling off…
A father and 4 kids from Chicago have made a channel on Ustream TV showcasing their breakdancing talents. News Blog RC stumbled upon it and were very entertained. They call themselves Chi-Town’s Finest Breakers. If their show is not on live now then check some of their videos here.
News Blog RC added this video, simply because we liked it……it features little babies doing some serious rollerskating moves…..whilst at the same time, somehow advertising a certain brand of water that tastes like it came from a sewer……enjoy
P Diddy wasted no time in getting his hands on a few other artists to make a tribute song for Michael Jackson. The formula for Notorious BIG’s death was obviously a good one as it made P Diddy a worldwide star. He has taken a smaller role in this song, entitled Better On The Other Side. The song features The Game, Chris Brown and some other black artists.
Less than a week after his death and plans are afoot to put Jackson’s body on public display at the NeverLand ranch. There is also talk that his brothers will be performing at the concerts MJ was due to carry out in London.
Michael Jackson was exploited when he was alive and now he is being exploited when dead. News Blog RC just hopes that some of all the millions that will be made as a result will be passed on to Jackson’s children and not just line the pockets of those who have leeched off him in the past and the new ones looking to take advantage from now.
News Blog RC is not sure this will be the official video for the song, or if another version will be released. All the footage on the video is from the days surrounding the death of the King of Pop.
Due to popular demand News Blog RC have added the Megan Fox interview from the Jimmy Kimmel Show. Megan is appearing in the new Transformers movie which is playing in your local cinema. She was recently voted as the sexiest woman alive by a host of magazines and its not hard to see why.
Apparently, Megan Fox has the ability to make gay people, straight. It’s also said that she has a lot of haters amongst the female community, no need to be jealous ladies.
As the famous scholar, Wayne Campbell once said “One day she will be mine, oh yes she will.”
