Diversity upset the odds to win the final of Britain’s Got Talent 2009. They were up against Susan Boyle in the final two and the public vote went in their favour to the surprise of many. They were not the favourites and were carrying odds of 20-1 going into the final, but another original well choreographed routine helped win them the public telephone vote. Diversity’s desire and dedication plus their near perfect performance proved that real talent shines through. They collected the £100,000 prize as well as being able to perform in front of the Queen at the Royal Variety Performance.
